CI Law School Graduation This Friday

The CI Law School graduation takes place this Friday at the Harquail Theatre.

Nine Professional Practice Course (PPC) and 14 University of Liverpool LL.B students are the star participants in the Cayman Islands Law School (CILS) graduation at the Harquail Theatre on Friday, 30 July at 6 p.m.

The keynote speaker is the Director of Studies for the Cayman LL.B. programme at the Liverpool University Law School, Dr. Robert Stokes, CILS Director of Legal Studies, Mr. Mitchell Davies said.

Notable invitees expected to attend include the Premier, the Hon. McKeeva Bush, OBE, JP, the Chief Justice, Hon. Anthony Smellie, QC; the Deputy Governor, Hon. Donovan Ebanks, MBE, JP, the Acting Attorney General, Hon. Cheryll Richards, QC, Grand Court Judge, Hon. Charles Quin, QC, and Commissioner of Police, Mr. David Baines.

The Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Cline Glidden, Jr. will also participate but as a graduand. Attendance is by invitation only.
